...and me. Hitting the 'back' button after a few seconds seems to resolve for me. More an irritation than anything as I assume the page is loading when in fact it'd 'stuck' on this pointless page! I have noticed that I haven't had to login twice for a while so perhaps this bug is a fix for that bug... :rolleyes:

I think the problem is caused by Vbulletin trying to automatically change the 'daylight saving time' settings in the users profile. (profile.php?do=dst) when it trys to do this from a portal that is outside the forums base directory. The quick solution is to add a 301 redirect to your .htaccess file or make a new file with the line;

Code:
Redirect 301 /profile.php [url]http://www.ybw.com/forums/profile.php[/url]

Once I updated mine this issue went away.

Total pain ... I use 4 different devices , 3 of which travel across timezones ( if that is the problem). When I was in the US in February when I 'eventually' got in (re-bookmarking also works) , I couldnt see anything due to Honda CARS adverts obliterating everything .. and why no Miami reports.

I've just turned off the "adjust for DST automatically" in my settings menu and that seems to work. Will remain to be seen if it continues to do so after a few hours

Yep, the multiple device thing is yet another thing they've completed messed up with the new forum, I find that the forum seems to set different cookies per device - so you read all the posts on a given thread on one device, and then later when you're using a different device, the forum wrongly tells you there are unread posts. Grrr. Again.

Cheers

Yes getting this too. hit the back button then select topic to read quickly and all is ok.
Happens on iphone as well as 2 pc's

Same here, I've lost the will to live with this forum, I thought it was just a problem with mobile devices but clearly not.

Since the forum was changed its been a real pain, why oh why did they bother to change what worked well???

The forum is still showing Winter time on posts, so for some reason has not recognised the hour change last Sunday, but appears to be working fine this evening.
