Hi All
I hoped someone would be kind enough to help, please?
I bought a boat last season that has a dual Jabsco fresh water pump set (Jabsco 52530-1000). In theory when demand is high, both pumps run together to give more flow but I can’t seem to get the second one to kick in. I can see air bubbles moving in the strainer of the top pump when the pump is running, but not in the bottom one so I guess it might have failed.
The flow is okay but I’m not sure you could have two showers at once. The user guide explains that when one fails the other pump will continue to run. I wonder if I’m in that position so need to fix / replace the broken one.
The guide doesn’t seem to have any troubleshooting and, looking through the forum, I gather Jabsco aren’t easy to contact. Would anyone share a way to get the pumps to run separately so that I can test them, please?
Many thanks for reading.
