How to stop canvas stiching unravlling

My dodgers are 10 years old and the stitching this winter has broken on the letters of the boat name.
I haven't time to organize re-stitching. Is there some way of containing the situation until we come back in August. I am thinking of a dab of colourless glue or any better ideas.
