How to sell a boat

I have learned here that brokers do a lot of work.

But do they give us some guarantees.

My purchase in Germany was interesting. I could (and did) ask for compensation if something was broken or did not work and I could not see it in my normal inspection of the boat. Compensation for hiden problems. I bought it with the German sellers and buyers contract and it was a private sale advertised on yacht.de.

Can I come back to the broker if something goes wrong?

Hi Geronimo.

Yes I have learnt a thing or two from this thread as well!
There is an interesting thread developing here regarding when things go wrong with problems showing up on survey and how this is then handled by the broker and the contract.
