You know me, a bit of a flash twit, always catalogue hunting and buying stuff cus its shiney and has fiddle with bits but hey ho.....maybe I've seen the light /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Needed a way of mounting my new radome onto the radar arch, normally you can sort of plonk em on the top but with the GPS antenna already up there the scanner has to be higher than the receiver. So okey dokey you can buy them loverley stainless 5" hoy'k it up type things but prices came back like £230 incl vat and delivery.
So bish, bash, bosh there ya go, knocked up in an afternoon and £30 of stainless and a few hours labour. Even got a little hook and cleat on the mast light sticky up thing for the red duster.
Not too bad if I say so meself.
And doesn't look out of place on boat either, was afraid it was going to spoil the lovely lines of sweepy radar shape.
