how to remove varnish from gelcoat??

I am sure this has been discussed here many times, but using the search engine I couldn´t find the answer.

Last Summer I ordered a worker in my marina to varnish my boat but he wasn´t proffesional at all, and in spite of using a lot of 3M blue painting tape, there are some touches and drops of varnish on the gelcoat.

I need to know how to proceed to remove it without damaging more the gelcoat.

Scrape it off with the edge of a penny, if it's only small bits. If necessary, polish with T-cut afterwards.

The forum search engine's very limited. It's usually better to use Google Advanced Search, specifying "ybw.com" as the domain, plus a bit of creativity.

+1 for careful scraping. Maybe not a penny, but a razor blade (carefully held at a very shallow angle) should do it. Polish afterwards as required.
