Hi All, the diaphragm pump for the water system drives me nuts every time it operates, really noisy. It is fixed to a board under the saloon seat. Any tips/advice on how dampen the noise? thanks RPP
I used to be worried about this too - until someone posted that he saw it as a positive!
His argument was that if your freshwater system ever sprung a leak, or someone left a tap on, you would know and act long before your tanks were emptied.
It is also a great tell-tale when the young or the the vain are spending too much time in the shower
I now regard a noisy water pump as an essential feature!
Consider fitting an accumulator. It will then pump on fewer occasions, only when the accumulator needs re-filling.
BINGO got it in one
Won't make it quieter though.

Make sure you only fill your tanks with soft water, it stands to reason that hard water will make more noise. Innit?
Sorry, I'm in a frisky mood today.....
Tony (if I may be so familiar) that is a very, very helpful statement, if I may say so!
Will you be in the Beer Bucket, next week? I would like to buy you a pint!
Max.
