how to marinise a diesel transit van engine?

hi
i have a old engine in my boat that i may not be able to get the parts needed will be checking these out,so i am looking into maybe taking a diesel engine out of a older transit van as they were always good engines so my question is

what would i need to have a marinised engine and how or where would i get the items to do it that will be compatable with a transit van engine
i would probably be able to find the parts needed if i knew what i needed? lol

If it's of any interest I have an old Transit van with a decent engine which I would sell for scrap value. I know that these engines are marinised and parts should be available.

And ASAP as well - I'm thinking particularly of bits you might need for the cooling system such as heat exchangers, but they also do gearbox adaptor plates, fuel pumps and son on.

Yes, Lancing or ASAP but...

..Mermaid may also be of help - they supply marinised Ford engines. Likewise Beta for Kubota.
