I was given a drysuit by a friend who didn't want it anymore, brand new, however he cut the boots off as they were too small for his feet.

What is the process for gluing a new set on? Is it just easier to pay someone to do it?

Many thanks!

Put lemonade bottles or similar in the legs to fill them out round - makes it easier to glue the seam straight. Can't remember the proper glue though. Something two-part, I think.

That's exactly the kind of tip i needed, i've found stormoprene glue whihc is what i need, just couldn't for the life of me figure out how to keep the suit and boots stuck together as the glue dries :) thank you!

I've always used a 2-pot contact glue called Alpha S2000 for neck seals - smells like evostick. Hence no need to hold while it sets. But, I totally agree with the bottle trick. If you can't get one that fits, consider balloons. Also, get some tape & glue that over the join. I makes it more rugged.

I get glue, seals & tape from Solent Divers who make suits. They're close to me in Portsmouth so I can drop in.
