Is the photo the holes after removing the VDO Sumlog?

I have the same on a Centaur. Not working with a short length of wire hanging out. Debating whether I have time and will to remove it this year or leave as is (no leaks)

Yes, that was the holes after I took off the impeller.
I opened them up with a counter sink bit and then filled with thickened with epoxy filler. Had no issues in 2019 season so I think it's fine.

Just used the time to remove redundant log and glass the hole, been wanting to do it for last 2 years but boat never out long enough

I've got a couple of through-hulls just blanked off with a sea cock and cover. Does anyone produce a range of simple solid through hull style fittings that you could just bolt in in place of such things?
