How to - Change Supercharger oil Volvo KAD32, 42, 43, 44, 300

Whilst trying to get my engines and drives upto a known base to keep them well maintained I thought I'd have a go at changing the oil and video the process to help others.

It is a super simple job and whilst £25 for 250ml of oil seems ridiculous I thought it was worth doing especially when you see the oil that came out

I change the oil every season (regardless of hours) using a syringe - takes 5 mins.

How long was your old oil in there?? My old oil comes out spotlessly clean.

difficlut to say! We have only had the boat for just over a year and the engines have 850 hours on them so either it was done meticulasly at 400 and 800 by the previous owner or it has never been changed and it's been in there since 2000 when the engines were put in, we'll never know :-D

thats the reason for doing some of these simple maintenance tasks as i know whee i am starting from now and as you say for the sake of £25 and 5 minutes i think it will get changed yearly or at worst ever other year ?
