How often to you wear oilies

I used to wear my musto jacket most of the time on our old boat (just sold) except high summer. Bristol Channel can blow up, Irish sea can rain and going below to take lifejacket of and oilies on is poor practice as a squall hit.

We will sea how our wheelhouse boat fares but i expect actual sailing in bad weather will still mean tiller and cockpit, so not getting rid of oilies
