How much to soda blast anti foul on 19ft centre boarder

There was an article in last month's YM on different methods of stripping. It said that soda blasting costs £10-12 per foot (LOA). I've no experience of getting it done, but I wonder if firms would be a bit reluctant to travel far to do a single small boat. If you're in Dorset, I'd be happy to link up to give them two to do. Mine's a 17 footer. Of course you could trail it to them!

Thanks for the info and offer Simon. Found local company who are set up to travel. They charge £100 per machine hour and reckon 4 hrs for my Shrimper. Finding a suitable location where the ensuing dust won't cause difficulty to others and can be hosed away is the biggest problem.

Good to hear you're sorted out. £20 a foot sounds a bit expensive though - I'll get my scraper out! By the way, I'm pretty sure you should sweep up the debris for disposal. Hosing it down a drain is unlikely to endear you to the sewage company!
