Telephoto lense?A friend has it in their shed about 200 miles away Kevin
I certainly wouldn't use dyneema for a mooring line, but why not a spinnaker halyard? You need to broaden your horizons - for example dyneema is not the most sensible choice for a spinnaker halyard- so maybe Birdeye's old rope is actually something you need.

Thank you ….. I mean NOT ! (regarding a pile of old wet soggy rope …… I actually like the smell of hemp) . Note my smilie in my post about only buying dyneema….. it did not even exist when I started sailing. You need to broaden your horizons
Every day is a school day.Do not look for 'snatch' on urban dictionary.

I don’t sail anymore. Done quite enough. I am sure you have done more. No worries. In fact it must have been my insistence on using dyneema for everything for the last 40 years (add smilie here) that lead to my mooring snapping because I only used dyneema (another smilie) and no snubbers and no backup chain ….. I really should not have used 3mm dyneema shoe laces either. Have another smilie.
I will obey and broaden my horizons for surely I know nought.
?It amazes me that some cannot manage to write a post with helpful content without adding an unnecessary edge to it.
