How many people does it take to change an engine?

Yanmar 4JH4E replaced with Yanmar 4JH5E.
Started at 0800. New engine installed and running at 11:30am. Just in time to go and see the Americas Cup on Saturday.
Re-used the old gearbox as new gearbox of correct spec not immediately available.

Question now is do I sell the Yanmar complete or sell off the spares?

Let me get this straight: are you seriously saying that you pulled the old engine out at 8:30 am, swapped over the gearbox, replaced it with the new one and then motored out to see the AC start at 11:30 the same day? If yes then it's John McEnroe time for me, "You cannot be.....!" :encouragement:

The previous weekend I had booked with the office staff to move the boat alongside the main pontoon in order to make the swap over easier. When I arrived on the Friday evening the message hadn't been passed on. So when i said I now wanted to move the boat alongside the main pontoon the office staff were hesitant stating they wanted to use that length for the Americas Cup bookings. I said no worries I'll be done by 11am and out. With a sceptical look they agreed for me to go ahead. As it was I was about an hour late in leaving.
I origanally wanted to get the old engine out on the Friday evening but people will remember that last Friday was just horrible weather wise.

I should perhaps add I was left with a couple of jobs to do. The engine panel is smaller than the old so only hanging in there. Currently making a bigger panel.
Also the external alternator regulators weren't supplied with power up until later in the day.
(Balmar Alts and Regs.)
The engine still needs the second crankshaft pulley and belt fitted to drive the second alternator.
Also no engine alignment issues due to having an Aquadrive unit.
