Blimey - a combination of near-vernal equinox spring tides and high pressure caused a really low tide in Chichester at the weekend.
Came out of Sparks at dusk on Sat in friend's Vancouver 28 - a GK29 (I think) was stuck firm aground in the entrance to the channel. We touched the bottom but got off again.
Then down to Itchenor and ran aground 2 metres from the jetty where there's normall loads of water. We both managed to get on the jetty via another boat and pulled her slowly through the mud (sideways!) onto the jetty - what a way to park!
