Could anyone give me an idea of how many hours on the river this journey takes obeying speed limits? Thanks in advance for your help.

It is 38 miles by river, and 13 locks including Marlow. That's just over 7 1/2 hours cruising at 5 mph plus locking time.

Thank you all. Sounds as if it makes sense to leave at least a couple of days. Hit a couple of busy locks and we'd be struggling!

Two days is nice, up to Windsor or just before then onto Marlow. Job done
