.... just to dry out some foam seat pads? After wrestling with the completely seized up zips (Viakal liquid worked there) we got the high-density foam out of the cockpit cushion covers.

After a day in the wind and sun and nearly 24 hours on the underfloor heating, we still aren't dry But we are getting there.

Always, always put your cushions away at night. Even if you are a bit squiffy

Or buy ones with closed cell foam that doesnt get wet in the first place.

I dont think so. Ours are very comfortable.

We leave them out all the time when sailing.
