How is this weekends forecast shaping up? Where are you planning on going?

Just a reminder relating to another thread, Goodwood Festival Of Speed is on until Tuesday.

This means huge traffic jams for anyone approaching Chichester Harbour from the East, and the short cuts from Tangmere to Salt Hill Road are kindly blocked off.

The Chichester bypass will be terrible with the good weather too, all I can suggest is a very early start, bear in mind this will also apply to the return trip if before Wednesday.

All this discussion reminds me why I like sailing where it's relatively quiet. The only bypassing I plan to do next week is the Mull of Kintyre on the way to Donegal ;)

Don't really anticipate much traffic en route!

Pagoda,

fair enough but it's fortunately only 2-3 weekends blighted every season by the Duke's financial gain ( yes I have been once, not my scene ) - normally one can easily get around the only traffic black spot which is Chichester bypass.

One also learns which harbours ( we do have a huge choice ) to avoid and where to go, I like busy places if not taken to the extreme.
