We have a friend who has a two year old AWB (Bene 50) that he has had on the market for a year now. Not as much as a solid sniff. We were supposed to put our boat on the market this season to move up but it seems pointless. I realise I will have to drop the price and this hopefully will be offset on the new boat we have our eyes on, but we can't afford to have two boats.

You don't say where it is on the market.

I think well presented boats that are not overpriced will sell, as they are a rarity amongst the rubbish out there. However a 50ft AWB should be in good nick - but probably overpriced - it must be sold for well below the cost of a new one.

Yes it is tough, but with a creative and diligent approach the right boats are selling for good prices. If the advertising is in place correctly and properly targeted and there is no interest, price and presentation are the next things to examine.

Quite a few boats recently sold here,Lefkas Marina Greece. It is the Motor Boats that are sticking. I also think that if the price is right and the boat is in pristine shape she will sell

Good luck
