hi , anyone know how far it is from exmouth devon ,to the isle of wight ? , i heard someone once say they knew of a mate who blated up there in a rib for a stag doo , wondered how far and what the overnighting and refueling was like for a smaller cuddy sports boat . cheers

I'll try again.

Exmouth, no Petrol. Marina but locked. About 50 miles to Weymouth, petrol and good facilities on the pontoon in the river, or at the marina. Take the inside passage round Portland Bill, Alternative is Portland, not sure of petrol.

About 40 miles to Yarmouth IOW, petrol and good facilities, Cowes also good, but expencive.

Done it loads of times, if more just ask.

I said I'll try again, because my detailed post got lost.

It is easily doable on the right day. Caution round Portland Bill, however the forum can help you here.
You can do it in one hit or two. Depends on your petrol consumption.

Unless it has gone in very recently there is no petrol at Weymouth.
You can jerry can it from the petrol station up near the railway station.

There is, I believe, now petrol at Portland.
