How Far Lagos From Airport.

Going to lagos Portugul next week.
1. To sus the place out.
2. Holiday.
3. Visit Colin Scott.
4. Hopefully deliver his Burgee.

We can of course go from Faro airport on the free coach. They say about two hours. Or we can pick up the hire car at the airport and drive. So. How far is it. How long do you reacon by car. Is it a straight folward drive. Dont want to drive around all night getting lost!! Flights supposed to arrive 18-30 Thanks.

Drive is pretty straightforward as long as you don't get lost in Loule, we do regularly! Really the train is by far the best option- free bus from airport, train station at Lagos opposite the marina, cheap fare, comfortable carriages and around 1.5 hour trip. We use it for preference every time!

gotta be a car h. what if the flight is late, how are the trains at that time of night? could be foggy and the pilot doesn't have the hours experience to land, like the trainee on Go, could end up in.....? Prob only take a bit longer than alty to accy on a normal day. how you gonna sus the place on foot? also quite a few other nice spots to visit when you get there including marinas etc. plus on return journey what if train is late, could miss the flight. cheque in the post today.

Grrr! Just answer the bloody question will you. <G> Trains not an option. All ready got a coach. FREE. But hate coaches especialy with some pratt at the front with a mike. Telling unfunny stories and wanting every one to laugh, put hand up or agrea, on command. Do I pick car up at airport or do they bring it to the doss house, err about 3k out of Lagos some place.

Sorreeee! Collect car at airport, very goog rates from holiday autos at gofly.com. About an hours drive but can vary a LOT with the traffic. Suggest you ger air conditioning was in the 80's last week!

Wish I was coming with you

Just had the most perfect week on the Algarve. Weather V. hot. Colin's boat is fabulous.

Collect car from the airport. Follow signs to Lisboa (left out of the airport) on EN.1. Then you want the N125 which takes you to Lagos (bout an hour and a half). You go past Portimao and Vilamoura which have new marinas you might want to look at during the week sometime. As you drive into Lagos the marina is signposted. You have to drive over the bridge, round the roundabout and back over the bridge.
