I am looking to replace my speed transducer as the paddle wheel has disappeared and only a full transducer kit is available to buy.The ad for the Navman/Northstar 3100 transducer kit says it comes with a LT8 plug however I have the Mercury Marine ' Flagship' white face speed gauge and am not sure how the kit will connect up ( e.g does it/should it go straight to gauge and simply plug in?). Looking at some schematics of the gauge it appears to receive separate wires rather than a 8 pin plug but I may be mistaken. Any thoughts or suggestions most welcome.
