A thread for technophobes
Well - on the good vessel Claymore we put our flags on when they were new and some kind person had inked TOP at one end of the white bit where the string comes out of so we welded it all on.
Several years later we still have our original budgies because we cannot get the knot undone. The budgies are looking a little frayed at the ends now and we have evolved the species of the Blackpool and Fleetwood Gull into a split tailed jobbie which gives it a kind of menacing air and we use this to frighten Goshawks, Gannets, Bald Eagles and Fulmars away thus retaining doodoofree decks
Frayed, faded and f****d - I saw them on saturday.
You should be ashamed to be a member of the CCC. As for the other bit of tissue flapping in the wind - the very pale blue one no-one would recognise it anyway.
I thought the faded look was rather good - rather like my old pink trousers which Dear Heart has hidden - are you saying my budgies have to go the same way?
Claymore, I do not wish to be the bearer of bad tidings, but someone in Blackpool, ie not quite off the edge of the world, is trying to sell a pair of pink breeks.
