How do you clean your hull?

Antifouling, Zanzibar style...

I went kitesurfing in Zanzibar earlier this year and saw the locals cleaning the wooden hulls on fishing dhows... I'm wonder what Shotley marina would make of it if I tried it on Seaspray there...
