How DO they stay clean?

Non serious subject here but I don't think I've been down to my boat since November when I emptied the water tank etc ready for the winter.

I went last weekend expecting all manner of bad poo on the deck and a generally dirty boat. And yet it was spotless! Amazing.

Once I got under the canvass however, a very nauseating smell hit me - like an old fishing boat mixed with a bit of carpark stairwell. Turns out I'd left a bcuket of mackerel in brine under a seat for 5 months. Good god did it reek!

Anyway - they stay a damn site cleaner than they have a right to don't they?

What you have failed to notice is that in the small print in the Marina/yard T&Cs it says that for health and safety reasons they will valet your boat every week.

Boy oh boy are you in for a shock when the bill arrives!
