Hi All,

I managed to puncture my flexible water tank whilst trying to get the old inlet hose off, luckily no water in it, but now have got a 10mm cut in it.

Does anyone know what adhesive and patch to use on something like this? I'm not sure what it's made of, the material looks similar to my inflatable but don't know whether it's pvc, hypalon, or whatever.
The tank hasn't got any makers details on at all.

Any help would be appreciated!

I repaired my Plastimo inner which looked like thick welded polythene by cutting a patch off the seam edge and supergluing it over the hole, clamping it overnight. Still good when the boat was sold two years later.

This guide from Polymarine may help. http://www.polymarine.com/advice/pvc-or-hypalon/

My Vetus flexible tamk is PVC and I bought a very expensive repair kit from them to repair it. There will be cheaper repair kits out there.
