How do I remove Sikaflex?

I just cleaned off the sikaflex that had been used to bed the davits on our transom.

Much trial and error and found teflon lubricant for bike bike chains helps soften the stuff better than just about anything I had on board, including various solvents, handcleaners, grp cleaners, window cleaners, batheroom cleaners, etc.

It still needs some elbow grease, but after carefully getting rid of clumps with a scraper, a green kitchen scrubber and a regular squirt of spray made the job 10 times easier.

I am planning on using this widget on some of my deck:-

We took the old rubbing strake off yesterday and about 6 feet still has either the Sikaflex or Sika and bits of wood attached. It all has to come off because the new strake is a thin Tek-Dek type and will show up variations behind it. What cheap simple easy mechanical tool exists for removing it Links to an actual one you'd recommend would be appreciated.

You don't make it clear which Sikaflex it is. 291 remains elastic and is quite easy to remove 292 sets almost completely and is a complete bugger. Other manufacturers have similar variations.

Unfortunately it's the type that doesn't set with a part number stamped in it

It's a bit elastic; the magic stuff arrived yesterday so I'll know soon.
