How do i post pics from YBW Albums

Know this has been done to death but I can't seem to get pics from my album onto a post. Tried YBW search but worse than useless.

Can anyone help or direct me to a previous post.

Quite. the YBW picture posting system seems to have been a dead loss.
It's far easier and more reliable to post your own pics from a server space (like a P/bucket or similar account).
 
Right click on the image. Copy the image URL

Inert the URL into your post using the "Insert Image" icon

I agree with Vara and Lakesailor though, Photobucket is a more convenient method of posting pictures

However the albums are a nice way to share your photos with other forum users.


BTW there the (white) flushing water pipe between the toilet pump and the bowl should rise in a loop to well above the water line. It should have an antisyphon valve fitted at the highest point.

Sorry, utter thread drift. But how many do? None of my three boats of the past 25 years did and I don't recall using anyone else's that did. All remain afloat as far as I know. It would be a powerful siphon that got past the pump valves, although perhaps more possible than the one that is supposed to get past the vanes in an engine seawater pump. :)

I know someone whose boat came close to sinking during the night with the family on board.
No vented loops on the toilet pluming.
One of the children failed to shut a seacock properly.
During the night the toilet flooded and the boat flooded up to the level of the bunk tops.
Fortunately the owner woke early and realised things were not right when the insulated food box floated past his eyes.

Luckily it was during a rally so lots of help on hand and in a harbour where there was access to a laundry with tumble driers etc.

By the time I was awake people were beginning to return from the laundry with rinsed and dried bedding etc

May not have been a Jabsco toilet but one of the similar types.
A vented loop as described in the installation instructions would have prevented it.

The rim of the toilet would have been a little below the water line with everyone on board although maybe a little above with no one on board.
That would have explained why there had been no problem all day as there may not have been any one on board.

As the boat started to fill of course it sank lower so the water came in faster. IIRC there was a "water line" nearly halfway up the topsides the following morning!

It is my guess that the toilet in the OP's boat could be below the water line, hence the advice about the vented loops. If it is comfortably above the waterline then there is no problem.
