Thanks for the pointer.
I have a picture saved on my C; drive which is 2048 x 1536 pixels. Understand that max for this is 65 x 75.

Bearing in mind that I am on a company PC with all sorts of software and that they prohibit downloading software (inc' freebies as in the one on boatsontheweb, for resizing) how do I resize the JPG file from huge to 65 x 75.

Stoneage simple language preferred!

Rest looks achievable.

Excuse my ignorance but the following 2 appear to be the only ones that will open the file and seem to offer editing option:
Imaging
Microsoft Paint

Any use?

Paint won't do resizing, so ignore that one

Have a look through the menus of Imaging. Is there anything which lets you change resolution, quality or resize?

What you need is this:

This should give you
nimbusybw_002.thumb.jpg
.
