I had this problem before no matter what i tried i couldent get the file from the CD to seaclear!

Could someone perhaps provide me with "how to do it" ie press X on sea clear choose file press y then go to z press yes and they will transfer otherwise im confronted with a choise from where to get or put something and i havent a clue!

There is a bit more to it than just scanning. You will need to flash up MapCal II, which comes with Seaclear, to calibrate the scans. MapCal also lets you set the directories Seaclear looks in.

Its worth the effort to understand the slightly strange instructions that come with Seaclear - it really is a great program. We have sailed thousands of miles on it now.

We've had this chat before on and off forum .... STOP trying to see via Seaclear - you HAVE to set your directory's via Mapcal2 .... that is after calibrating the charts - if NOT KAP, WCI etc.

Once the companion program Mapcal2 has set the directory's Seaclear will use the info set by Mapcal to find the charts ...

Anyway the manual is very good when read slowly and surely. It's all in there .
