Well, its Boxing Day, Lynn has gone off to work to tend the sick and needy of the district, and I am left having volunteered to clear up after the festivities of yesterday (burp!)
We had a lovely breakfast, lunch and late night nibbles for 4, but.......
Just where on earth did all the crockery, cutlery and glassware come from, who threw food all over it, and where the bl**dy hell does it all go when its cleaned?

PS damned cold down here, so passed on sailing today, but later, later......

I have a dishwasher!!!, and its still clanking in the background! (turns ups No 1 Yob's Linkin Park, disguises one noise with another).
Good news though, I have been kidnapped by an alien who is demanding to extract my knowledge of the earthling meeting places known as 'The Pub'. This could take some time, or at least the rest of the afternoon...... I will leave a ransom note for Lynn to discover.

You should have seen what we used, and that is only two adults and a spaniel. I blame the dog, she prefers napkins, crackers, and at least 6 courses. It took two full cycles of the dishwasher to clear it all. Thank heavens for modern tecnology.
Now, how do you fit a dishwasher on to a Moody 37? /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Dishwasher aint the answer, the b****y things still need filling and you daren't trust them with the cut glass etc. Just cleared up from Boxing day lunch and waiting for folks to come round and make some more mess. I still love Christams though.

Hope you're all having a good one, hic.

Re: Dogs & Dishwashers...

or both, for extra cleaning: (but remember to remove dog before rinse cycle!)

Might make you feel a bit better to know that the sewer lateral to our kitchen blocked on Christmas Day so dishwasher, sinks, etc in the kitchen are unusable - have to cart everything to the laundry to wash by hand /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Couldn't rod it clear (a nice Christmas Day job) so wife and I are on the boat until Wednesday when our Mr Plumber is hopefully back at work.

That\'s why

I have a set of rods handy - clearing house drains are even more of a disgusting chore than boat drains.

What is it about houses - won't float, permanently moored, singularly ill-designed and far more expensive to moor and maintain than a boat.

Can't understand why anyone lives in them. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
