I have got two motorlaunches built in the 1930's by British Power Boat Company, 23 and 20 ft, 23ft is has received a major rebuild of the hull and deck to a high standard but has no machinery at all, the other is not for the faint hearted. As far as I know only 8 of their small craft survive, 3 of which are in National Museums.

With the best will in the world it will be decades before I get to them so sell, how best to go about it?

Good oh.

I dropped an email to Hambledon Sales and Charter, she's emailed back and says its tough to find anyone that wants to take on a project like this and I should try ebay!

Hmm.

Maybe give the IBTC in Lowestoft a go. They might need a project as a training tool.

I know students need to buy their own materials, and maybe if they feel like attempting a project they feel like they get something worthwhile at the end. They both look like nice Broads boats too.

Very little history, I do have some pictures of Panther III, Scott Paine's own boat that were taken about 10 years ago, you can see that my Red Fox is identical.

The other boat is clearly from the same builder judging by style and construction and it was sold to me as BPB Co.

I've not reaserched more, there are some archives in Southampton Maritime museum and Greenwhich, I guess the Bodleain might turn up something too.
