A number of us list golf in our forum bios as another interest so would there be enough of us interested to to have our own society day?

Just a general question and not an offer to organise something either you understand, but it might be fun. Anyone up for it?

I think Twister Ken said something like that about the Cherbourg trip. Include me out, but have a great time!

Always ready for a knock but couldn't justify a trip to Hampshire for it although I've always wanted to play Ferndown (Yes I know it's in Dorset).

Now if you fancied a trip to South Wales I could make some good recommendations.

Yes. I last had a proper handicap 15 years ago but I do play with a pal a few times a year, lets say "useless" but not a "disgrace", and still a member at midlands course. eerrrrmm, I think I could still find the way there!

I am up for it as you know. Having just returned from 7 days golf in Vilamoura its not a bad venue. We could all sail down there and take over the marina for a week.

SWMBO really wants to play that one! We have been in the anchorage many times but never went for a look see. Spectacular place, lovely even in August.

We could combine a few things here. Every one gets together for a meet on the water. Fleet is split into two halfs. Once going for driving distance competition off the foredeck, the other half of the fleet having a clay pigeon shoot! <g>

Looks like we are a bit thin on the ground......

........a bit like some of my tee shots!

I thought there would be rather more of us, but at least we now know who we are and can organise something individually maybe. I have already met Johna through the forums for a game, it's nice to meet others with common interests.
