Hour Meter

Hi

I have a Volvo tacho with the lcd hour meter. The a few weeks ago the lcd display started to show rubish and now it doesn't show anything at all. I seem to remember seeing a post sometime ago relating to this problem but I can't find anything when I search.
Has anyone else had same problem and did they fix it without purchasing a complete new tacho.

I could be totally wrong but I think I heard somewhere that you need to put it in a low oven or similar to dry it out. May be worth phoning Peters in Chichester as I'm sure this is where I got the info from.

I have the same same trouble. It's just damp in the instrument. Either try a hair dryer on it in situ or remove it and take it home and leave it in the airing cupboard.

It'll probably dry out in the summer - eventually.
