The Rocna thread has now notched up 1261 posts.
The Liquid Asset rescue has spawned at least seven threads, total posts 819.

Will Liquid Asset overtake Rocna??????

Its really pretty exciting to be the fourth post on this thread!!!!! What was it about anyway?

I have been away from scutts for a while and can see there are some/many threads about the incident off Dover. Would anyone who is up to date possibly take the time and list the threads in order for me, I would like to have a read through and get a better picture of what happened and opinions based upon this..

Thank you in advance.

They all gravitate to the same thing - slagging the skip or his organisation, and getting mixed up between incidents. Most seem to think there's a Bavaria involved...

Some believe the RYA is to blame, but - amazingly - no-one has yet criticised the Met Office for allowing it to blow so hard. So if you want to make a new point...

That night the wind was screeching here, it had passed a howl and was wondering if I would still have garden fencing at first light. I did have to go outside at about 0245 to secure the side gates, it was horrible and not an easy job. I don't care what boat it was, if the ferries aren't setting out then no one has business going to sea in a small boat. F10 forecast, I am checking moorings and doubling lines not setting out to bloody sea.

Idiot skipper and sorry... so were the crew who did not grow a pair and tell the skipper to go and take a running jump. Sorry to the crew/passengers for this, but they have just learnt a valuable lesson, if you're not happy don't go.
