Hood clips loose in boat body

Presumably from repeated use/mis-use, several of the metal 'lift the dot' metal screws, to which my canopy clips, are coming loose from the bodywork.

Any suggestions as to how they can be re-set most easily? I imagine some kind of 'plug' like for normal screws or is that just stupid?

I had this and used a small pack of epoxy which you can mix as you go (or araldite). slop it in the hole and put the popper back in before it sets. They seem to be stronger than the original.

done the same as above but was unable to get my hand up so dropped some coloured fly line in drilled a 1mm hole to thread it and then an old nut to pull the wood with araldite against inner hull.tied a retrieve line too so not stuck in the hull.when cured drilled a pilot hole for the original screw to get started as the original 1mm one is always at the bottom of the original hole due to gravity hence smallest hole possible.

I have used a bit of gel coat filler in the past with good results .
You can get them with two screw fixtures .
