HONG KONG SAILMAKERS

Has anyone used HONG KONG SAILMAKERS? They advertise in PBO in the classifieds, and their quote is about 40% less than the UK-based sailmakers e.g. Crusader. Am thinking of buying a new main and roller-furling genoa. Any comments welcome. Thanks.

There was a thread some time ago and most people who bought seemed satisfied. I must admit I did not realise the saving could be 40%.
I know the chap who founded the business and he told me he had very few problems with clients, this must be a good sign. Brian.

I've got a main for my Halcyon 23 - seems fine!

Bought a new main from them in 2005 and a new genoa 2006. Cant see anything wrong with them.

Bought a cruising chute from them about 3 years ago - no problems, but of course rarely used.

Boat a new main for the Mac last year and it's superb. They are always helpful on the phone.
