Can anyone help with a bit of a problem with our clubs Honda Outboard. It seems that we have blocked water galleries in the head and we cannot stop it over heating. Can any one reccomend a flushing product for an aluminium engine head.
It is used in an inland sailing club

Sorry, I cannot reccomend a flushing product but I do know that Hondas do suffer from this problem. I strip the inlet/exhaust manifiold on my one and clear out the gunge every year and this seems to do the job. Also try checking the thermostat is working in a pan of hot water. That may be your problem.
Good luck!
Alan.

If it's not mud and so on what thermostat is it using as if it's not quite right re temp just like a normal house boiler you will suffer from deposits.

Cheers
