I bought a Honda 2.3 Outboard in Italy in 2011. Shouldn't have any problems with it. I filled it with diesel one year and my son dunked it twice in the drink. He said it was a piece of **** engine. Because it wouldn't run well after that. We got it running again and . . . long story short the connecting rod is broken. In the US I can look up a number of different websites and pull out the parts diagram and order up the part. Problem is that most of them only sell parts for Honda OUtboards that are sold in the US. Here is an example -- http://www.boats.net/parts/search/H...2DK0 LCHA /PISTON + CONNECTING ROD/parts.html When I do a search for the same service in Europe I can't find anything similar. I don't have the ID number of the engine with me because it is in Italy. Can anyone help me out on how to find the part number and/or order the part?
