Honda Generator EU20i - £627 in Malta

For anyone interested, and who may be in, or considering visiting malta, and thinking about a generator, I've just bought the above for 380 Maltese Liri, which is roughly £627.

Couldnt find one online in the UK for less than about £850.

2 year pan European Warranty.

(not much use if your coming by plane /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif )

110v or 220/240v?
50hz or 60hz?

What happened to harmonisation of prices within the EU?

I got one in Ireland 2 years ago for €800 which is about £550. Excellent piece of kit.

I bought one here in Ireland too last December for €950 thats £662 at today's rate. Have to agree with Froggie, a great wee gennie.

It's an EU20i Model B 230v 50Hz 2 x UK 3 pin sockets.

Looks like it's the UK that's out of step on prices - again???

Yes that's the one. I use it at home for the regular power cuts out here in the country.
