Hi all,

Can anyone help. I have an old, very old Honda B100 outboard motor. (9.9hp) I think Noah may have traded it in some time.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a workshop manual. Although this engine is old with a little attention it should be OK. I want to replace the water pump impeller and can't seem to split the bottom of the leg, need to know whats apart from corrosion is holding it. I have managed to split it to about 1/2" after that it won't budge.

Any help or advice would greatly appreciated.

Dunno about manual but there were squillions of these motors made, often used on inland waterways. So most decent motors dealers/fixers should know. Have you disconnected the shift shaft - the shaft that selects FNR? You have to disconnect at the top I think, inside the top cowling, can't remeber. The other place they stick is where the driveshaft splines mate with the crankshaft, due to corosion, but if you've moved it a bit then this seems not the problem. Does it wobble or is it stuck pretty firm?
