What effect would a partially blocked (deformed at exit Crankase breather tube have on running. I will try this out next time out on water .

When I had a car crankcase breather blocked (totally) it seemed to run OK but pinked like crazy under much load.

It depnds how restricted it is I quess. Can you disconnect it to see if it makes any difference.

I will run it and cover or block the breather to see if I can replicate my problem. It may be Red Herring. Have put a Biocide through system Any other ideas appreciated. Bear in mind engine ran for two days last time out befoere stalling under load again.

If enough pressure develops you will blow the oil seals out. Major dismantling to get to them to replace them usually.

Otherwise a bit of power loss as mentioned.
