Honda 2HP

Apparently, the outboard did not make the transition from dinghy to boat very well. It may have only been a "momentary dunking" but unfortunatly, it was saltwater. A service shop cleaned and oiled everything but alas I think the electronics are screwed.
Anybody have a similiar problem and has anybody rebuilt a Honda 2Hp ?

There's not a lot to the electronics. Check the stop switch is OK and that only leaves the coil and HT lead assembly.

Have you checked for a spark?
