The exhaust on my trusty 10 year old Honda 2.3hp has developed a noisier than normal exhaust note . Examined the exhaust and as far as I can see through the casing no sign of blowing or cracks in pipe , Also head gasket and compression seem fine , engine runs well.
There is what looks like an expansion box with 6 standard drilled holes and a cylinder looking thing sprouting near by no idea what this does .
Just wondered if any one else has had this kind of problem or offer any ideas as to why the exhaust as got louder .
