Honda 2.3 no spark

Hi took out plug held against chassis no spark disconnected kill switch no spark ,can u test coil thanks roy

Have you tried a new plug? I have had a few just fail on my H2.3 for no reason. I think they are sensitive to gap for good running but they do just give up occasionally.

New plug fitted ,pulled carb to bits put back to get her and working now ,thanks for help

I had same.problem. New plug solved it.

This is a common problem with all modern outboards. I may be completely wrong but im guessing caused by poor (old dirty etc) fuel breaking down the coating on the plugs causing them to fail. The last three plug failures i have seen have been after running on stale fuel.
