Having spent the last two weeks in Addenbrookes having every test going I'm back home soon on Intravenous feed & eating for a few months to recover from previous surgery (Particularly liver & pancreas) & put on some muscle in order to come back in for very major surgery "to put me back together" !
All I have to say is if you get seriously ill, go to Cambridge, they have solved more problems in the last two weeks than they did in London in two years.

I can't say much more than I wish you a speedy recovery (again), let's hope you get mended this time. Stay positive.

Two of the things they have fixed make it easier to live again, shouldn't be tied to the house day in day out, so a great improvement & may even get to the boat after all, albeit slowly, which will suit Nicky :)

That is great news. I read it as you were starting again so this is a major step in the right direction. You are looking to the future already regardless of the time it takes and your positivity will carry you through. Take your time to heal though, don't rush things, the boat will wait for you. :encouragement:

You’re a fighter. You’ll be back on your boat, hale and hearty and I’m betting you won’t even miss too much of the season :encouragement:

At least I have some confidence now, in London the buildings were great, but the people you need work out of several places and getting them all together is a nightmare, communication is non existent. At Addenbrookes they are all under one roof, know what they are doing across the board, & they talk to each other. When someone says so & so with come & see you they actually do, which was rare in Harley St @ £106k for a month !!!
