That's a seriously big boat. I wonder how they plan to get it to the water! It rings a few bells - we built ours (40' x 23') in our front garden in Buckinghamshire and a lot of the locals were speculating about how we would get it out as the lane leading to the house was narrower than the beam by several feet. One friend who works for the BBC suggested we use the method they use for large dishes etc. - hire a jumbo helicopter.
We even sent a poll to the regulars of the local asking them to vote on what was going to happen. Options included 'the most unusual garden shed in the district'.
In an area like that they've done well to get to that stage without a neighbour bringing in the council to ban it.
The guy has been building it for about 30 years, I remember seeing it as a teenager in the mid seventies and recently drove passed to see that it has not progressed much in the interveening years.
