Holset HX40M

HI Guys

Any well priced turbo shops over there google isnt coming up with much - looking for a new or recon HX40M for my cummins 6BTA 330's - and looking to minimise my investment without risking chinese turbos Aussie prices are eye watering to say the least (eg standard cummins wet elbow - list price $6500aud!)

Current port turbo is beyond rescue as the turbine housing has rotted that far

Thanks guys recon is available over here but it involves sleeving the turbine housing and there is not enough metal left to do that such is the corrosion. When yours were rebuilt did they sleeve or replace the turbine housing? Even if I can find a supplier of the housing I'd be halfway there are Cummins locally want 2000aud just for the casting!

Ours only needed new cores, best you speak to them. Australia is long way from here, could be a problem?
