42nd, not bad for singlehanded, declared a spinaker then ripped it trying to fly it by myself

I think that's a cracking result Allan. You must be chuffed with that!

Just before the finish line I realised that, unusually, everything had gone to plan. The increase in wind compared to the forecast helped greatly, there was 18mph at Flatholm just before we started. The wind was at or above the 15kts+ over the deck, which Chausey needs, all the way down.
I would have been happy with being in the top half, the top quarter is fantastic!
